     Expectations:
  1. Tell why young children need daily love and attention from mothers and fathers.
  2. Demonstrate talking with and listening to your child, even when tired or upset.
  3. Describe the benefits of attending to your child’s needs every day.
  4. Demonstrate how to comfort a child.
  5. Demonstrate three ways to encourage bonding with a child.
  6. Describe why it’s not OK to hit, shake, or pull on a child.
  7. Hug your child each day.
  8. Demonstrate at least three ways to play and have fun with a child.
  9. Read each day to your child.
  10. Name and provide appropriate books and toys.
  11. Name three ways to build responsibility.
  12. Name three ways to build self esteem.
  13. Describe three ways to be a loving authority figure.
  14. Demonstrate responding with empathy to hurts and disobedience.
  15. Demonstrate three ways to effectively stop family arguments.
